What we host

Six kinds of night, and they overlap

Most bookings turn out to be two of these at once, which is fine. Nothing here is a fixed package to pick from.

  • Corporate team building

    Mixed teams around a table that needs them to talk to each other. Nobody has to be good at anything first.

  • Company gatherings

    End of quarter, a launch, a leaving do. Two floors means people can drift between playing and not.

  • Birthday parties

    For any age that can hold a cue or a card. Bring your own cake and we will find you a table for it.

  • Private celebrations

    Engagements, graduations, anything worth taking over a room for. The private room seats a party on its own.

  • Gaming nights

    Your own group, your own night, off the shelves or out of a box you bring. We can teach whatever nobody knows.

  • Custom tournaments

    Billiard or board games, your format and your bracket. We have run enough of ours to help you run yours.

What you get

The whole venue is available to you

Not a function room bolted onto something else. The tables, the shelves and the private room are the venue, and a booking can use as much of it as you need.

  • Both floors

    Professional billiard tables downstairs, 227 board games upstairs. A group that cannot agree does not have to.

  • The private room

    Built for Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, which makes it the right shape for a meeting, a briefing or a party that wants its own door.

  • The kitchen

    Catering from the full menu, 4 PM to 3 AM. Tell us what the room eats and we will sort it out.

  • Someone running it

    Teaching the games, keeping a bracket, explaining the rules to whoever arrived late. You do not have to host it yourself.

What it costs

There is no price on this page and that is deliberate. A number here would either be so low it means nothing or so high it puts you off, and neither helps you plan an evening.

Ten people for two hours and fifty for a whole evening with catering are not the same booking, so we quote yours rather than sell you the nearest package.

We are open every day, 1 PM to 4 AM, so a booking can run late without anybody being asked to leave.

Every question, in one place
Is the 47 AED per person or for the table?

Per person. Four of you playing means four times 47 AED spent in the kitchen, and then the whole library is open to all four of you for the rest of the night.

What does a Dungeons & Dragons session cost?

D&D is 25 AED a head to join, plus a 35 AED minimum spend each in the kitchen, and the session runs as long as it runs. It is priced on its own because it has its own private room.

Can I move to another table during the evening?

As often as you like. Your order follows you, so joining another game or a bigger group never complicates what you owe.

Is there a private room?

Yes, built for Dungeons & Dragons campaigns so a session can run as long as it runs without a party at the next table. When no campaign is in it, it does the same job for a meeting, a briefing or a celebration that wants its own door.

Can I book the venue for a company event or a birthday?

Yes, and we do it often: team building, company gatherings, birthdays, private celebrations, game nights and custom tournaments. Price depends on how many of you there are, how long, catering and what you want to play, so ring 055 606 3002 and we will put a package together.

Can I run my own event or tournament here?

Yes, and plenty of people do. Tell us what you have in mind and we will help you find a night that is not already busy, put it in front of the community, and set the room up for however many turn up.
